About KPNOG:
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Network Operators Group (KPNOG) is a newly formed, community-driven initiative dedicated to strengthening technical capacity and promoting knowledge in key areas including Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Internet Governance, IPv6, Cloud Infrastructure, and Network Automation across the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.

KPNOG draws inspiration from successful regional models such as APNIC and the APNIC Foundation, which work to advance internet development, digital literacy, and community collaboration across the Asia-Pacific region.

KPNOG aims to localize this vision for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where challenges such as the digital divide, limited professional IT training opportunities, and gaps in cybersecurity and cloud literacy persist. By bringing together network engineers, IT professionals, students, policymakers, private-sector organizations, and volunteers, KPNOG strives to build a more vibrant, inclusive, and secure digital ecosystem across the Asia-Pacific region.

Mission:
To strengthen technical capacity and collaboration among Network Operators, enhance Cybersecurity awareness, and promote knowledge in emerging domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet Governance, Network Automation, IPv6, Internet Laws and Policies, Servers & Storages and Cloud Infrastructure in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Objectives:
To uplift the technical skills of KP’s IT professionals, ISP engineers, and Academic IT staff by organizing technical workshops, conferences, online training sessions, and panel discussions, ultimately advancing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s digital ecosystem and fostering a more knowledgeable, secure, and innovative technical community.
